I've done three runs (elite x2, vet x1) to test averages of drops within level ranges. Oh, and only children and frothing Ayn Rand supporters actually think "ad hominem" is a serious debating point. That does not mean the other two were not also from pre-B30, but just from random runs.įor someone attempting to deploy rhetorical devices, you're lacking the logic part. Which part of this sentence did you not understand?:įive of those seven came from 12+ hrs of farming pre-B30 This isn't an issue with the droprate itself. So once again, you simply haven't sacrified enough goats to RNGesus. When I reached Jagged Wastes in B30, I got 2 eyes from one run. Would have made quite a difference - right now it just looks like you breezed through clearing everything normally and expecting to have a bunch of eyes available for crafting. Why didn't you mention in your OP that you farmed manticores specifically for "12+" hours then?

no farming) are representative of a normal person's drop rate. This is early access: the three runs done vanilla (i.e. I farmed manticores before and after - five of those seven came from 12+ hrs of farming pre-B30. Also considering they buffed the droprate in B30. Unless you specifically farmed manticores only for like 10+ hours I don't see a problem here. Furthermore, the restriction can be circumvented by trading with a buddy in order to pool the Eyes on one character, which means there's literally no reason for the restriction to exist. Having six Eyes across six different characters is totally useless. This is perfect because there are enough Undead in the game that players will accumulate a good number of materials by questing/running bosses, only occasionally needing to farm.Īt the very least, something that needs to happen is allowing players to put crafting materials in the transfer stash.

Remove Eyes from the game and replace them with a new crafting material that drops from Undead, who don't currently have one. Add many more Manticores throughout the game. Simply playing through the quests yields a decent number of Brains/Hearts/Blood, but Eyes must be farmed just to have any, let alone enough to craft with.

The biggest problem with Eyes, barring an impractially large increase in drop rate, is that players can't accumulate them incidentally through normal gameplay.
